Singapore

I just returned from Singapore and wow! It has A LOT to offer and definitely worth a visit.

It was a British colony for 144 years before becoming part of Malaysia in 1963. It finally gained its independence in 1965.

This ultra-advanced island country is known as the “Switzerland of Asia” for its cleanliness, safety, stability, greenery, efficiency, technology, shopping, and more.

Singapore’s charm lies in the mixture of its distinct cultures, namely Chinese, Malay, Indian, Eurasian and Peranakan.

There were many architectural wonders and parks that impressed me in Singapore, but the Marina Bay Sands and Gardens by the Bay clearly stood apart.

Combine Singapore with a romantic getaway to Bali or the Maldives. Also, perfect combination with any South East Asian country.
